The Explorium Brewpub is hosting a fall beer dinner at its Third Ward spot (143 W. St. Paul Ave.) at 6 p.m. Tickets are $75 for the five-course menu.

Wednesday, Oct. 27

Maplewood Brewery is bringing Morbidly Obese Pug Cookies and Cream Milk Stout to The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) from 2 to 6 p.m. If you bring your pug you get a free pint. Also, $1 from every pint sold will benefit local rescue organizations.

Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) is offering a one-night home for Component Brewing Company, who is moving to a bigger space. The Component Brewing Has No Place to Pour Pop-Up runs from 4 to 10 p.m.

Impress your friends with the mad calligraphy skills you can learn at Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.). Sip & Script will be at the brewery from 5 to 7 p.m. providing you with the tools and tricks needed to create cool lettering. Registration is $65 and includes a calligraphy kit.

Need more crafts with your craft beer? MobCraft (505 S. 5th St.) is hosting Studio 24 Floral from 7 to 8:30 p.m. They’ll show you how to build a Halloween-themed floral arrangement while you sip on a free MobCraft beer. Tickets are $55.

 

 

Trouble Makers’ Cochina returns to The Sugar Maple (411 E. Lincoln Ave.) for another Mad Mexican Food beer dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets for the four-course menu are $55.

Yappy Hour: Halloween Edition at Gathering Place Brewing Company (811 E. Vienna St.) means good things for your dog. Humans get $1 off of draft beers from 4 to 8 p.m. Dogs wearing a costume are entered to win a gift card to Riley’s Sandwich Co. Also, the first 10 dogs there get a cup of Riley’s Fave organic chicken with sous vide vegetables.

Friday, Oct. 29

Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) is hosting a festive fall gathering complete with pumpkin carving—for $15 you get a pumpkin, carving tools and a beer—and the release of Cranberry Gose Winter Sour. Added bonus, beers are half off if you’re wearing a costume.

Halloween Flight Night’s are happening all weekend at Indeed Brewing (530 S. 2nd St.). Pair four candy-inspired beers with the real thing. Flights are $14 and include Chocolate Coconut Almond Cream Ale paired with Almond Joy, Mint Chocolate Porter with an Andes Mint, Peanut Butter Cup Cream Ale paired with Reese’s and Fruit Chew Strawberry Melon with Mamba fruit chews.

Supermoon Beer Company (3145 S. Howell Ave.) is releasing Wettenhop over the weekend. The beer is a farmhouse-style saison brewed with wet Cashmere hops and fermented with Brettanomyces. The result is a complex beer that combines melon flavors with an earthy funk. Preorder started Monday, with pickups happening from 1 to 7 p.m. on Friday and noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday. It’ll be available on the Supermoon patio too.

Vennture Brew Co. (5519 W. North Ave.) hosts a Halloween party at 8 p.m. Costumes are recommended and your presence is rewarded with a pair of new beers to try.

This week, 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) is releasing POP Raspberry Fruited Sour, soured oat cream ale made with raspberry, cacao nibs and milk sugar. Presale begins at 9 a.m. and pickup starts at 3 p.m.

This weekend is Sahalloween at Sahale Ale Works (1505 Wisconsin Ave., Grafton). They’re releasing four barrel-aged beers starting at 3 p.m. on Friday. TEOTWAWKI: Resurrection is Sahale’s legendary barrel-aged brown ale made with sweet potatoes, molasses, cinnamon, vanilla and pecans. There are also three double barrel-aged variants of This Is For The Hustlas, an imperial blonde oat latte. Choose from a standard version or pumpkin spice and hazelnut variants. Wear a costume all weekend to get $1 off of full pours (barrel-aged beers not included).

Saturday, Oct. 30

Eagle Park Brewing is releasing Rudie Can’t Fail, barrel-aged imperial porter made with maple syrup and coffee. Public release is from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at both its Milwaukee location (823 E. Hamilton St.) and Muskego taproom (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy.).

The first two variants in Third Space Brewing’s Barrel-Aged Deconstructed Dessert: German Chocolate Cake Series are being released. The Beer Barrrel-Aged Imperial Stout and The Chocolate Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout are both available for presale and can be picked up over the weekend.

Ray’s Growler Gallery celebrates Halloween with the help of 1840 Brewing Co. The taplist includes a few gems by 1840 that fit the theme.

The Wisconsin Brewery Running Series heads up to Sheboygan at 3 Sheeps Brewing Company (1837 North Ave.). Registration starts at $30. Get there at 11 a.m. to prep yourself for the 5K run run.

The Tap Yard-Waukesha (1150 W. Sunset Dr.) hosts the Halloween and food Truck Bash from noon to 10 p.m. Eight food trucks will be there, and they’ll have live music from 6 to 10 p.m. There’s also a best costume contest at 9 p.m. and a dog costume contest at 3 p.m.

The Beer Olympics are coming to Stock House Brewery (7208 W. North Ave.) from 1 to 5 p.m. Teams had to register by Monday, but you can root for others as they compete in classics like beer pong, bags, darts, flip cup and Connect 4.

Sunday, Oct. 31

The Sugar Maple hosts Dovetail Brewing and McFleshman’s Brewing Co. from 4 to 6 p.m. For $20 you get a tasting of five different beers by the two.
